Health & Safety Guidelines for Spring 2022

The health and safety of the Cal State LA community is our top priority as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. Health Watch provides the latest information about campus COVID-19 protocols, university messages, frequently asked questions, and more. Please check back here regularly, especially on the days leading up to your visit, for updated to these guidelines and recommendations.

The Luckman remains committed to bringing you impactful art experiences. We are committed to being your community cultural beacon all while ensuring your safety, as well as the safety of our visiting artists and of our staff.

Before You Arrive


•Daily health self-screening: Everyone shall conduct a health self-screening for COVID-19 symptoms before arriving at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex at Cal State LA.

Admission Guidelines


•Face masks are strongly recommended: We encourage you to wear a face covering that covers your nose and mouth. Click here for guidance on masks.

Additional Safety Measures in the Building


•Restrooms have been upgraded with no-touch soap dispensers, water faucets, and hand dryers. Restrooms will be cleaned multiple times prior to each performance.

•Hand sanitization stations are placed throughout the lobbies.

•We have conducted HVAC duct cleaning throughout campus.  All buildings and classrooms have been confirmed safe for occupancy and are in compliance with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health guidelines.  We conduct routine and preventive HVAC maintenance throughout campus to ensure the upkeep of our infrastructure.
