The Luckman Gallery is an integral part of the Harriet and Charles Luckman Fine Arts Complex on the campus of California State University, Los Angeles. The Luckman Gallery is a 3,600 square foot Kunsthalle-like space that presents approximately five exhibitions per year, plus related education programs, representing a diverse selection of emerging and established contemporary artists. The Luckman Gallery’s exhibitions and programs have attracted attention in newspapers and magazines distributed locally, nationally, and internationally. Since 1998, the Luckman Gallery has originated seven nationally traveling exhibitions and since 2002 has organized three exhibitions nominated for Best Show Awards by the International Association of Art Critics USA section. The Luckman Gallery also houses a growing permanent collection strong in contemporary sculpture and prints.
